We also suggest using products that do not contain petroleum as petroleum can have the same hardening effect. Just like products containing petroleum; other oils, lotions, creams, ointments and body sprays may harden the plastic on your pants. Never use chlorine bleach or fabric softeners to remove stains. Rather, insert pant into warm water with mild detergent. Never put this product in the dryer. Instead, hang the pant to dry. Keep out of direct sunlight if possible.
